Barbara appeared on the Riverwest Radio program, “It Is What It Is” on Thursday January 22, 2026. She gave an overview of the Wisconsin Conservation Congress and her experience serving as a delegate.
On Saturday, December 20th, members of the Greater Milwaukee Green Party supplied some of the toys and helped with the toy giveaway sponsored by SIP (Supporters of Impacted People–formerly Supporters of Incarcerated People). Their first toy giveaway served 34 families and lasted just an hour before all the toys were gone.


Barb Eisenberg organized a showing of the documentary, The Invisible Mammal at the East branch of the Milwaukee Public Library on Tuesday, December 16th.

member, Susan De Vos attended the Fusion Voting Conference sponsored by the UW Madison Law School in Madison on Friday, November 14th. Peter LaVenia, Co-chair of the New York Green Party was the only participant who spoke about the negative consequences for small parties in states like New York and Connecticut, the only two states which have fusion voting. United Wisconsin is an organization that has filed suit to reinstitute fusion voting in Wisconsin. Fusion voting has been banned in Wisconsin since 1897.
Fusion voting allows a candidate to appear on more than one party ballot line.
MATC Horticulture student and Garden Committee member, Tylon Moon, gave a presentation at Zablocki Library on November 13th. He covered several edible “weeds” that can be found in Milwaukee. In addition to Tylon’s powerpoint, participants could see live plant displays and enjoy dandelion tea along with crackers and a lambs quarter dip (made from spinach since lambs quarter is out of season).

Greens tabled and participated in this year’s Reclaim Armistice Day program sponsored by Veterans for Peace. Zeiad Abbas Shamrouch, Executive Director at the Middle East Children’s Alliance in Berkeley, California, was a featured speaker.
Bike for Palestine set off from the Mitchell Park Domes on Sunday, October 12th. They made it to Madison by 6pm.


Derco manufactures replacement parts for the bombers used on the Palestinian people. The Disarm Derco Campaign calls attention to the ongoing complicity of the Derco with the continuing genocide in Gaza and the West Bank. On October 7, 2025, the Disarm Derco Campaign held a demonstration in front of the Derco headquarters in Milwaukee, naming just a few of the thousands of children who have been killed by Israeli forces.
