Annual Events Recognized and Supported by GMGP

May: Black Mama’s Bailout Day ( organizing to bail out African American Women for Mother’s Day
June: Juneteenth – celebration of the actual end of slavery after the Civil War on the 19th of June each year
July/August: pick a street fair (rotate each year) and take a month off for the other month
Sept: Labor Fest – annual Labor Day holiday festival and parade in Milwaukee (heavily attended by labor unions and their supporters)
Nov: Armistice Day
